After a difficult week at work I needed some R&R. We kicked the weekend off with dinner at Pizzetta, our favorite neighborhood pizza joint. We eat here too often, it's so good. Loved this week's special, roasted brussel sprouts...

Pizzetta, SF's best pizza place

On Saturday we joined friends at Hall winery in St. Helena in the Napa Valley. We stopped at Dean & DeLuca and picked up sandwiches and other delicious treats, then made ourselves at home at Hall for four hours, tasting over ten wines and enjoying the perfect 80 degree weather.

After leaving Hall we made a quick stop at Bouchon Bakery in Yountville...

Sunday we slept in, cleaned the house, cuddled the cat, then went to a new-to-us restaurant near our home: La Ciudad de Mexico. It's a tiny little storefront in the Inner Richmond district specializing in tortas and WOW they were good!

We saw the movie Gravity (beautiful), went to the new Target (woot!), then tonight I made Martha Stewart's recipe for roast chicken. As the weekend winds down I am dreading work tomorrow a little bit less, and feeling very, very grateful.
