Foggy San Francisco Summer

"The coldest winter I ever spent
was a summer in San Francisco."

- incorrectly attributed to Mark Twain, witticism of unknown origin

Fog meets ocean. San Francisco in July

It is typically foggy, windy and cold here in San Francisco between July and September, and despite a few bright days here and there, this summer has been the pits!

But I have to admit that sometimes the fog is beautiful. It's moody and romantic. Since we live near the Golden Gate Bridge, I love listening to its foghorns. They sound both assertive and forlorn, and their nearly constant rhythm becomes meditative.

Golden Gate Bridge & San Francisco. Pretty lovely.

  1. Hi,

San Francisco is one of the top dive destinations in the world, Cancun car rent offers you to enjoy sea life and dazzling underwater caverns, spend some quality time on the golf course or wave hello to the playful spider monkeys at the jungle. Thanks....
