Cumaná in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Although featured in many travel guides, the restaurant Cumaná in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires doesn't feel like a tourist trap. When we were there it was mostly local families and had a really fun vibe. A wait for a table can be long, and there is the typical BA slow service. Don't sweat it. Cumaná is known for empanadas, but as you can see we went for a picada (meat and cheese plate similar to an antipasto), traditional northern Argentine stew and quiche type thing. Really highly recommended BA spot.
